Continuing an incredible year that has seen them drop one of the most celebrated, most cerebral and most searing albums of 2014, Run the Jewels 2, El-P and Killer Mike brings their pulse pounding, hip hop pugilism back to the Twilight Concert Series this summer.
El-P and Killer Mike, two of the most distinctive and distinguished names in rap, have travelled the world over subverting and pulverizing all expectations of their unlikely pairing. The have taken the creative synergy they discovered on Mike’s 2012 R.A.P. Music (produced by El-P) and El’s Cancer 4 Cure (featuring Mike) and molded a lighting rod of uncompromisingly raw, forward thinking hip-hop in their two Run the Jewels studio releases.
This dynamic duo is putting the finishing touches on a feline inspired remix of their 2014 release, Meow the Jewels, and will continue to bring their unbridled live performance to the mass as they crisscross the globe this summer.
