Woodworking Class

Come learn about woodworking and what you need to start creating beautiful, simple wooden pieces with Chad Parkinson, owner of The Furniture Joint.
You’ll prep and construct a beautiful wooden box with basic wooden tools with Chad’s instruction. You’ll have the opportunity to uniquely shape and texture your wooden box and create an item all on your own. With years of experience, you’ll enjoy learning techniques and basics about woodworking from Chad.

Location: “1893” 370 S. 300 E. Salt Lake City, UT
Class includes:
3 hour instruction by The Furniture Joint on beginning basics of woodworking, woodworking hand tools, and assembling and texturing a wooden box. Learn the basic handtools needed in woodworking. You’ll have the opportunity to leave class with a priceless piece along with some new tools to help you on your way to your next woodworking project.

-Precut Walnut Wood Pieces For Box (11″ L X 8″ W X 4″ H)
-Chisel Hand Tool For Texturing
-Use of Wood Glue, Clamps, & Tools
-Vial of Finish & Cloth
